My Muse

You don't know it yet, but I stare at you each day. Maybe someday you'll know, but not today. I know you like I know my bedroom, because I don't really know the back of my hand very well. I don't laugh at all of your jokes and mistakes because they're funny. I smile at you a lot and watch you when you don't know. I walk by you multiple times in hope that you'll notice me. I write about you when I get home every day. I tell my story and your story. Someday you'll see it all. Someday you'll fall for me. But for now, you are my muse.
